I live............

No idea what it means, but it is what it is. Time well spent, connections re-made, an honest look at connections that no longer really exist. Life moves on. I live, and meager as it is....it's getting better. It is what it is...but life is good...:)

Please God............this weekend...

Give me steel.............brace my spine Help me find calm.....if words get hot..... and if I cry.........please let the tears be known............not just about me....... I will survive this weekend.

I know it's your job to test me............keep me on my toes. I also know you keep your promise...rest is up to me. You will always perplex me my friend..............pleasure and good things one hand pain the other. I know it's been awhile since we talked...........just you and I.......but can we have a day please, when I accept your hand you don't smack me the other? That would be nice...........just saying........

Friend e-mailed me this...........it chuckled me.....

Last night my sister and I were sitting in the den and I said to her, 'I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle to keep me alive. That would be no quality of life at all. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.' So she got up, unplugged the computer, and threw out my wine. She's such a bitch.

Days you don't expect............

Ring ring.............quick check of the caller ID.......well what the hell, might as well pick up. Me) Hello? Him) Man...I'm sorry. I'm not mad...... Me) Bullshit! You were mad....I'm past it, hope you are too. Him) Agreed. Look, I have some new stuff here, have some questions....can ya come over..faxes and stuff? Me) "long pause" Give me half an hour.....gotta clean up and put some pants on.. Him) Great!!! See you in half an hour! "CLICK" So starts my day to reconcile with my wayward uncle.....6 pack in tow and better judgment aside I go say howdy. We examine some hardware his office has tossed, as the plant he works for has been closed.....he informs me there is a pallet of more just like this. Pretty mundane printers, an inkjet fax, wait wait.......they are pitching thier phones too? "Yeah, and the monitors and keyboards all the pc's" Dude.......if you have legal scrap rights..........lets make some money!!!:) So a few beers shared and an update the family....another hug from his grand daughter who greeted me as.."Hey!! I remember you...your Zig!! Wanna read my latest book?" Which ofcourse I read with her...... A promise made.........Next weekend a road trip..........not a bad saturday......not a bad saturday at all.
