Wednesday movie review......:)

So it's been awhile since my last movie review, and the loveley wife and I were on a mission. We needed a happy go lucky family time experience with the kids, a bonding moment we could all enjoy. We searched the listings and decided to see "A night in the museum". Wow!! Where do I start here.....OK...deep breaths....be nice... I can honestly say I've seen worse movies. Few come to mind at the moment, but a few. I can honestly say "Freddy got fingered", "Dude where's my car (though the hot chicks...from space thing was cool)", perhaps even "Attack of the killer tomatoes" were worse. While I sadly admit to having seen all of these, the latter where rentals. I paid to see this on the big screen. The dissapointing thing is that this story could have been so much more fun. The premise of being a night gaurd at a museum of natural history, where all the displays come to life after dark, just has tons of possibilities. A story line with the right imagination could lead to almost anywhere, and still be fun for child and adult. This was not that story...... On the up side, I got to spend an evening with my wife and kids out of the house and doing "something". On the down side, I saw Ghengis Khan cry, as he got "in touch" with his emotions. I'm stained for life.......feel....so...soiled.....:) Take care goofs and friends!!
