Zig, the Manchild, and Mr Electricity

OK....so it's bedtime for the manchild. For those of you not aware, Zig is a dad, sometimes a good one, but a dad nonetheless.......but i digress. Manchild, comes down stairs, after being threatened with pokemon death and such...to wash face, brush teethe, comb ass..etc, and go to bed......idea being I tuck him in after I told him....yes...now do it again, toothepaste and soap this time. Tonight was different. He came down clean, and instead of his usual excuse for another 10 minutes......had a real complaint................dad...think the fuse is blown...my room. Zig pondered this.....How can this be??? I've personally rewired this house...my own hands....his room and the girls room are on the same circuit.........I just put in a new service panel in the basement, new breakers. My 1st response to this sort of thing would be to run to the basement......check breakers. Flip them on and off. Hell the old panel I had so knackered, I won't even mention words like "code". Tonight was different. Quick as a shot we go to investigate.......it was eerie.............a quick inspection of the light switch, yes...on positiosn........no lights................lights attached to the ceiling fan......fan blades...not spinning....not good. Quick sumary of the room..................stero.................on............computer on.............alarm clock............on................hrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrm. I say hrrmmmmmmmm, all same circuit................................hrrrm Then pulled the pullstrings to the ceiling fan and light and fanblades came to life........... Moral of the lesson, don't fuck with Daddy!!! :) I think we both learned something tonight. Tomorrow he learns how to start the lawn mower.
