thankfulness is a good place to be. I heard once that if you only say one prayer your whole life, let it be "thanks".
moving on will bring changes like more laughter and more love. sending good thoughts your way.
The fact that you love that girl as if she were your own daughter has always been apparent. I'm glad you've been able to maintain contact with her.
